Purpose of Position

Assist in establishing of efficient and effective business processes within the Compliance area using the automation tools that are available to department.

Essential Functions

Organize and Develop Administrative Processes: Establish effective processes to support the missions of the Compliance function using the automation tools made available at UT System. Database Administration: Design, create, and modify databases and maintain content within MS Access to support the Information Security Assurance Initiative (ISAI) and other business functions such as records retention and repositories for risk assessments and contracts. Serve as department administrative and technical contact with OTIS for maintenance of the Incident Reporting System. Microsoft Project. Provide assistance to Compliance staff in use of Microsoft Project and provide backup for maintaining projects within the MS Project system. SharePoint Coordination: Maintain sharepoint sites for Compliance internal and external collaborative groups. This would include determination of structure and maintenance of content to support various working groups assigned to support UT System and UT System Administration Compliance functions and projects. Website Oversight and maintenance: Oversee the Compliance Website to ensure it meets the informational needs of the UT System compliance community and provides presents information in a professional and easy to use manner. Media Coordination: Organize the Compliance Academy website and assist with organization of webinar events including follow-up provision of continuing education certificates, session evaluations, archiving of content, and maintenance of Compliance area listserves and mailing lists. Forms Development: Assist Compliance staff in creation of automated data collection forms to support business operations. Provide general oversight and coordination of the work of any temporary administrative workers who may be used from time to time within the Compliance area to address specific clerical tasks in support of projects.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree and one year of related experience or High school diploma or GED equivalent and 5 years experience utilizing information technology equipment and software. One year of college (30 semester hours) may be substituted for one year of the required experience on a year-for-year basis, allowing up to a maximum of 4 years substituted experience.

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
