The American Enterprise Institute seeks a customer-focused technical support analyst to assist AEI's staff and IT team.
Primary responsibilities include resolving user technical problems in a timely manner, using the trouble ticket system to manage help request queue, supporting mobile devices, and managing online inventory of software and hardware.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, especially WinXP and Win7 in a network domain
Strong knowledge of PC hardware
Working knowledge of standard PC office applications (MS Office, Adobe, etc.)
Familiarity with network technologies, DNS, etc.
Familiarity with Apple hardware and operating systems (Macs, OS X, etc.)
Familiarity with phone systems
This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, energetic, and possess an innate technical curiosity. AEI will support that curiosity with opportunities for training and professional development.
