Resolves system performance problems that are not readily solvable by field service engineers. Utilizes a great deal of ingenuity and experience in recognizing ambiguous system failures. Is a technical resource for establishing performance specifications, and solving system control/performance/software problems.
Provides applications input to customers. Specific areas will include fixturing, sizing, test techniques, and data retrieval. Focus is on helping the customer achieve desired test results and value associated with MTS equipment.
Provides valuable input into definition of new products for future development. Provides input of applications expertise through Alpha testing and product evaluation.
Articulates complex issues in a readily understandable manner (e.g., technical & incident reports). Prioritizes scheduling for maximum effectiveness. Assists Regional Service Manager as needed. Is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting database for area of expertise.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with five years related engineering or field service experience.
Electro-mechanical, servo-hydraulic or related equipment experience desirable.
