We are currently seeking an Technical Support Manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for managing our drafting and design disciplines.

This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the Submittal Engineering and Process Engineering Departments. Within those departments, the Technical Support Manager will be responsible for incorporating the Field Measurement Program, Submittal Engineering Outsourcing Activities, Management Operating System, and Customer Service. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning/coordinating the use of materials and human resources.

Supervise Submittal Engineering (Drafting)

Supervise Process Engineering (B.O.M. and Layout/Programming)

Continuous Improvement

Department administration – people, budgeting, planning, process improvements.

Pre-project Review
Manage international and domestic Submittal Engineering Outsourcing Program.


Bachelors degree, preferably in engineering, architecture or similar technical discipline, and 10 years of progressively challenging experience in a construction related field. Must have working knowledge of Wall design, including an understanding of dew points and the materials to control moisture; Curtain Wall, Window, and other Building Envelope Products; how a building works from the foundation to the exterior skin; code approval requirements and code agency organizations. Must have experience with architectural shop drawings; must be fluent in reading architectural plans and structural drawings. Experience in curtain wall, wall panel drafting, design, and construction is desired. Must have computer-aided drafting skills, preferably AutoCAD release 2013 and Revit release 2013. Must have Microsoft Office skills, i.e. Outlook, MS Word, etc. Must have strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
