MAIN FUNCTION: Plans, directs all technical support activities of the Information Services Department, ensuring 24 hour operation, timely response, maintenance and monitoring of all Hospital equipment, including networks and off campus locations. Responsible for planning and overseeing the use of PC and network technology for processing, reporting and communications of Hospital and Corporate data.
EDUCATION: BS in computer science, Business Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE: Five to eight years technical support for network configuration and maintenance, technical support for end users on a variety of computer and software applications. Demonstrate high degree of knowledge of equipment capabilities and operations, including facility utilization, technical problem resolution, software and systems functions, vendor negotiations and user requirements.
