Technical Support Support Specialist I (Second Shift)

We have an opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist I to join our winning team.We’re small enough to be casual and friendly, but large enough to lead our market - and our growth is generating great opportunities.

In this position, you’ll be a primary contact for firms operating HD’s software application suite of products, assisting customers to effectively utilize HD software applications to meet their firm's business objectives. Since you will develop expertise in the HD application software product set, you’ll be able to resolve problems and issues efficiently and effectively.

The customers who work with you will end up as raving fans, because of your capability and your empathy. You’ll have proven processes to guide you, the support of senior analysts when you need it, and autonomy to make decisions on your own.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Troubleshooting - solve customer problems

Document troubleshooting steps

Research solutions

Take action using remote access utilities

Contribute ideas to the team

Collaborate on solutions

Here’s what you’ll bring:
Great communicator, both written and spoken

Experience and/or familiarity with technical support in a software application support or call center environment

Technical knowledge of MS Windows and fundamental concepts of databases (preferably SQL)

Problem solving ninja, with deductive logic and top-notch troubleshooting skills

Able to create great customer experiences out of issues and problems

Degree preferred but not required

IT-related course work preferred
