The university is now seeking applications for the Ruby on Rails Developer who will be joining our existing development team

Who will be joining our existing technical support team? The technical support specialist will work directly with the team lead to gain a strong knowledge on EMS (Education Management system) and help staff students and faculty

Skills & Requirements

  • Good to have knowledge on Ruby on Rails Application’s.
  • Good to have strong knowledge on MySQL to write quires if needed
  • Need to have 2+ years of experience on Software testing
  • Need to have 3+ years of experience on customer support (Phone/Email)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Demonstrates technical expertise is aware of product, software life cycle principles, and software testing method advances and shares expertise with others
  • Presents information in an articulate manner to ensure common understanding; presents perspective in a clear and logical manner
  • Demonstrates clarity, focus, and accuracy in oral and written communication using the English language
  • Differentiates root causes from symptoms, and collaborates with others to generate innovative and resourceful solutions
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn with a “can do” spirit
  • Enthusiastic, positive demeanor, and professional customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task with a special attention to details
  • Quick and accurate typing skills
  • Strong commitment to reaching your goals consistently
  • Excellent phone communication skills
  • Dedicated and willing to work towards and advancement
  • Equally comfortable working as part of a team and independently
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of use of service request and bug tracking systems

Compensation: $45 - $55K, Holiday Pay, 3 weeks PTO, Birthday Bonus, Floating Holiday
