The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of documentation management principles. They’ll also have some great ideas around document repositories and version control. They’d be a rock star if they also have a basic understanding of PM methodologies.

In the course of your day, you will: Main Initial focus : Strong ability to define & document processes and procedures in a logical manner
Use your experience to write and edit documentation of technical products and procedures. The intended audience will consist of both technical and non-technical users in the Telecom industry.
Work with subject matter experts to determine specific content and identify goals for successful documentation.
Evaluate existing documentation for use in revisions, updating and editing content as necessary.
Create standards, best practices, and templates required to assist SMEs in creation of product collateral.
Use your abilities to condense mass amounts of information, eliminating extraneous data, and providing clarity.
Required Skills
Leadership, results-oriented, outstanding interpersonal communication, problem solving, ability to align deliverables to projects in a matrix organization, multi-tasking, work independently with minimal direction/supervision, motivated, self-starter who is able to work under tight deadlines.
Required Experience
Education: B.A., preferably in technical writing or English or Communication
Alternately, minimum of 4 years of technical writing and documentation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience writing Web UI or API guides for end user
Experience documenting processes / procedures in a technical environment
Experience with full Microsoft Office suite, Google docs and Visio
