Position Summary : Write and revise a variety of technical, user documentation such as work and assembly instructions, manufacturing processes and procedures. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Ø Create, edit, and maintain, under the supervision of Process Engineering, procedural documentation including, but not limited to, standard operating procedures, processes, and/or “how to” user guides and application guides;
Ø Analyze requirements, with the Manufacturing Engineer and Manager, of the process and personnel to determine types of publications needed;
Ø Ensure documentation is compliance Quality Management System Requirements and applicable federal regulations; and
Ø Research and ev aluate new documentation tools and methods to improve documentation effectiveness.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications/requirements:
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English and Spanish languages. Employee needs to be proficient in MS Office.

May be required to work daily overtime and occasional weekends.
Education/Training/Experience:
High School Diploma required with a minimum of two years post secondary education. Minimum of 3 years writing experience, preferably with an emphasis on technical documentation.
This position requires use of and access to information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR). Accordingly, all Technical Writers must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
