Technical Writer

Primary responsibilities:
Manage technical documentation deliverables

Create new documents as needed and modify existing documents per product delivery cycles

Work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure accurate and timely technical documentation delivery

Play key role in Agile/Scrum process

Participate in daily scrum, release and sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, and retrospectives

Must be able to garner respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done

Facilitate information technology adoption throughout RichRelevance

Leverage Confluence as a means to communicate

Own the information lifecycle management on Confluence

Actively manage information in Confluence to maintain relevancy and navigability

Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/MIS or Engineering preferred

2+ years of experience with Scrum methodology

Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development

Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures

Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team

Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics

Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
