Salary: £31,952 + shift allowanceWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Craftsperson (Brewing) based at our Tadcaster Site. You can enjoy working in a highly regarded team of twelve people reporting into the Brewing Maintenance Manager. Our Tadcaster Brewery is the largest Ale brewery in the world and is a pivotal part of our supply chain network, producing 3.8 million hectolitres of our leading brands. We have a diverse mix of packaging which includes canning, widgets, bottling and kegging. We service both UK and export markets.The purpose of this role is to maintain continuous production of the brewing department through; Preventative Maintenance; Planned maintenance; Continuous improvements TPM (Improvement Methodology) and Projects including installation and commissioning. This role will involve working day shifts Monday – Friday as well as shifts to support ASH (Absence, Sickness and Holiday) cover.What skills and qualifications will I need?Essential: - ONC/NVQ3 Qualification in Electrical and or Mechanical Engineering- Fully multi-skilled and completed an apprenticeship- Ability to interrogate PLC's- Proven Multi-skilled background- Strong PC skills- Self motivator, ability to priorities work to ensure an excellent service is delivered- Ability to work autonomously including creating your own work list- Ability to work as part of a teamDesireable: - HNC Electrical and /or Mechanical Engineering- Experience in Brewing- Experience of computerised maintenance systems- Exposure to 5 S , TPM and other lean techniquesWhat kind of responsibilities will I have?Reactive/ Breakdown maintenance: due to the nature of the business a percentage of the work will be reactive unplanned maintenance and the remainder will be handling TPM and Continuous Improvement Projects.

Lean Manufacturing: Implementing Continuous improvement techniques such as 5S's and TPM.

Production Equipment: Reactive and planned maintenance on electrical equipment including PLC's (Alen Bradley) mechanical equipment including various pump and valves.About HEINEKEN in the UKAt HEINEKEN in the UK our success absolutely depends on the great people who work for us.
