Advertised Summary Job Description

The incumbent will carry out DNA analyses on genetically manipulated stem cells. Manage mouse colonies, purify and quantify DNA for the production of transgenic mice, culture stem cells, carry out gene targeting procedure, keep orgainzed laboratory records, maintain lab supplies, administration duties to assist grant application. Any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science . Six + months of experience in biomedical research environment. Knowledge and hands-on experience of stem cell culture and molecular cloning is required.
