To perform workflow processes within the quality control laboratory to meet customer requirements by supporting the testing of raw materials and finished products while ensuring compliance standards are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform sampling testing and solution/media preparation as specified by compendia or specification for Starting Materials and finished products, operate laboratory instrumentation and calculate results

Ensure laboratory cleanliness and organization by disposing of waste, adhering to laboratory cleaning schedules/procedures and emptying/consolidating glassware

Generate, document, and maintain laboratory data in an orderly manner in, LIMS, worksheets and documents

Communicate status of testing and laboratory needs

Assist in training junior technicians in basic tasks and technologies..

Troubleshoot out-of-specification or out-of-trend analytical result/methodology as part of investigational process.

Author and revise work instructions and SOPs.

Requirements:
One year experience in QC pharma, food, or similar regulated industry required. In lieu of experience, must have successfully completed Bio-Science Technology Certification.

Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods preferred.

Knowledge of arithmetic, basic calculations, rounding concepts, metrics system, and their applications.

Knowledge of GMP procedures and processes required.

Must possess good written and oral communication skills; knowledge of structure and content of the English language (the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar), the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing and through spoken words and sentences, the ability to enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form, Prior creation and development of work instructions preferred.

Must possess demonstrated Teamwork skills - providing information and assistance to supervisors and co-workers in a collaborative manner which encourages trust, mutual respect, and shared purpose among team members.

Must possess the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense, ability to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data in separate parts. Prior troubleshooting instrumentation preferred.

Must possess ability to organize, plan, and prioritize workload to ensure achievement of assignments and goals.

Must possess ability to be exact or highly accurate in attention to detail in performing duties.

Must posess Basic computer skills including MS Office required. Computer skills withLIMS preferred.

TruScan-User

Ovens

Melting Point

Disintegration

Dissolution

Physical Measurements

Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

Must be 18 years of age or older
