This position is that of an Electronic Technician located in the Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division Systems Development Branch.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for establishing the technical requirements and documentation related to the sustainment and supportability of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 system.
Responsible for developing contract requirements to ensure Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) provide the necessary documentation and data to enable the supportability of the system during its lifetime.
Responsible for the development of acquisition and supportability plans to provide for a smooth transition to in-service support.
Lead the efforts associated with performing supportability analysis, functional and physical audits of the system, contract deliverable reviews, fault tree analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, test readiness reviews, system verification reviews, and technical data reviews.

- Developing system supportability objectives for acquisition documentation and contract data requirements; e xperience conducting configuration audits and failure analyses during lifecycle test events; provide recommendations on improving policies and plans for business processes system program events and milestones.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. Applicants should meet the DAWIA Certification requirements for the Systems Production Quality Management (PQM) career field and be certified at Level III at the time of application. The evaluation method for the Engineer is a multiple hurdle process . Initially, applicants will be evaluated/assessed based on the minimum qualifications for the position.
