Don°t see your specialty listed? Tell us about it in your cover letter. RESPONSIBILITIES Build open-source wireless mesh networking technologies.

Assist OTI°s developers in building and refining open-source software tools. Facilitate the creation of online communities around open-source projects. Continually learn new skills and share knowledge to help improve team practices. Determine project requirements and envision creative solutions.

Present and demonstrate technologies and technology-related topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications: Familiarity with at least one scripting or markup language. Ability to work in UNIX-like environments, such as Linux. Working knowledge of security and privacy issues.

Working knowledge of mesh routing technologies. Thorough awareness of open source projects and policy issues. 3 years of work experience in a technical field or equivalent. Public speaking, outreach, and advocacy experience.

Experience working with independent consultants on technical projects. Experience engaging communities in on-the-ground organizing efforts. Second language. Send a cover letter, resume, and work sample (e.g., code samples, wireframes, training curricula, etc.) by December 31, 2012.
