The Technology Groupl Underwriter/Credit Officer will provide thorough, objective analysis of the financial condition and credit worthiness of borrowers and individuals, as well as analysis of prevailing industry and market conditions. Credit size is from $2 million - $50 million. Credit facilities range from structured borrowing base deals to traditional working capital lines, equipment term loans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Provides support to Relationship Managers for credit processes and portfolio monitoring, including underwriting requests for credit extensions and annual reviews. Provides input on pitch books and marketing proposals to support the Relationship Managers.
: Prepares analyses of the financial condition and credit worthiness of existing and potential clients and participates in meetings with clients. Perform industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed.
: Prepares monthly and/or quarterly reviews of existing borrowers to track compliance with loan covenants.
: Operates as a subject matter expert on bank credit policies and practices. Maintains extensive knowledge in the various products and services offered (including interest rate derivatives, FX, trade finance, & cash management).
: Assists with the preparation of reports, information requests, credit inquiries, and other special requests from Relationship Managers and Credit/Risk.
EXPERIENCE
: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
: 3+ years experience working in a financial institution/Technology Lending
: Formal Credit Training
: Broad based experience in structuring bilateral credit agreements
