Responsible
for integrating technology into the curriculum and assisting RESA4U and member
districts with professional development and planning the use and integration of
technology into the organization.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS: (Typical tasks but not all inclusive – major
duties of the position.)
¨
Develops
and performs engaging and cutting-edge professional development and trainings
relating to on-line learning, distance education, technology and curriculum
integration. Follows up when required
with instructional coaching on the use of technology in the classroom.
¨
Provides
technology integration services, including professional development, trainings
and consultation to school districts and RESA4U as a part of a team.
¨
Responsible
for the development, coordination, and implementation of an online learning
program.
¨
Coordinates
or Assists with online advisory committee meetings and staff meetings at school
districts.
¨
Coordinates
and assists in the design and implementation of delivering online and
distance-learning based professional development.
¨
Coordinates
the development and digital delivery of learning resources.
¨
Assists
in research and development of funding opportunities for technology related
ventures.
¨
Assists
in the development and facilitation of technology plans for districts and RESA4U.
¨
Assists
in the evaluation and assessment of district technology systems and practices.
¨
Researches
and assists in the implementation of “best practices” for integrating
technology across the curriculum.
¨
Assists
the Executive Director and Board with planning technology learning services.
¨
Responsible
for meeting technology learning services revenue goals.
¨
Responsible
for RESA4U website operation.
¨

EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE: (Minimum level of education and experience

Bachelor’s
Degree and at least 5 years experience in a job-related field OR equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field that
enables performance of all aspects of this position.

Driver’s
License

Montana
K-12 teaching license preferred.

WORKING

this job, the employee regularly works inside.
The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time
constraints. The employee frequently
will work irregular or extended hours while performing the duties of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate. There may be some
noise and temperature variations from computer equipment and adjacent offices.
¨
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently required to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, stretch,
lift and carry equipment and objects, and travel from building to other
sites. Must have dexterity of hands and
fingers to operate computer keyboard and to finger and grasp objects. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to
adjust focus. The employee is required
to be able to speak and to hear to exchange information and make presentations.

Mental/Motor Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely
performs routine work. The employee
