Position Summary:
At Zappos IP, Inc., Web Project Managers work collaboratively across Zappos. com, Inc. or its affiliates to "get things done" while embodying our Core Values.
The ideal Web Project Manager thrives in a dynamic work environment and is able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects with ease. Oh, and you have to have fun doing it!

What you will be doing:
Manage multiple web technology projects of varying complexity, spanning business units, from inception through implementation

Create and maintain project documentation, such as project charter, project methodology, project plan/timelines, estimates, resource plans, risk mitigation plans

Deliver web projects in a non-traditional PM environment

Coordinate cross functional teams of technical resources and business stakeholders

Tailor documentation and communication to tech and business management

Adapt project methodology based on project conditions and circumstances

Proactively identify potential challenges/risks and execute mitigation plans for those risks

Participate and contribute to process improvements, discussing technical design approaches, enhancing release cycles, etc...

Facilitate the right conversations between the right people

What you need to apply:
Passionate about Customer Service & Customer Experience--this is first on the list for a reason!

Bachelor's degree required

2+ years of Web Project Management experience - managing cross-functional development teams

Must have project management experience with website architecture and web technologies

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, web-based (B2C eCommerce) software development environment for an online retail business

Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies (such as kanban, scrum, etc...) and ability to adapt these methodologies per the project

Exceptional organization, communication, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills

Good judgment, high energy, strong team player and creative thinker

Flexibility / ability to change / adapt based on changing priorities

Build a collaborative team environment

Be ready to roll up your sleeves and get into the details

Not afraid to wear multiple hats
