Maintains personal contact with specific accounts/sales rep of designated areas as assigned by the Instant Ticket Manager. Maintains this relationship in a timely manner, utilizing telephone sales and customer services skills. Responsible for initial and on-going sales of Lottery games and products. Ensures special data and projects assigned by manager and director of sale, new game and promotional information is received by all current retailers via telephone on timely basis. Expected to become fully versed in all aspects of Lottery Retailing, and be prepared to answer questions as well as analyze and troubleshoot problems or requests presented by retailers or players.

Principal Activities and Responsibilities:
Enters ticket orders into computer terminal to ensure proper distribution of tickets to retailers.

Telephones account list as needed in support of Lottery Instant Games, Pull Tab tickets and related products.

Maintains daily records of telephone calls made, tickets sold and account changes and corrections.

Must be prepared and available at station to answer incoming Retailer Relations and Player Relations questions and solve problems.

Assists in the researching of pertinent information in support of Marketing Department for decisions affecting Lottery Retailer Network and/or Player Base.

Determines distribution of new ticket allocations.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Promotes positive retailer relations by establishing a good working relationship, servicing the account and assisting with sales through the marketing of Lottery products.

Visits assigned retailers to assure compliance and maintains accurate maps of assigned territory.

Maintains daily record of calls made, orders taken and supplies delivered.

Maintains and delivers inventory of consumables and Point of Sale marketing material and information.

Tracks and maintains adequate inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailer. Picks up old inventory and transfer packs as necessary.

Removes closing games as directed by the Lottery Commission within required time frame.

Assists with minor adjustments of lottery terminals to correct malfunctions.

Operates, and trains retailers to operate, all lottery equipment.

Performs retailer terminations, change of ownerships and other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Associates Degree or equivalent.

6 months - 1-year work experience preferably in a customer focused role

Must have good communications skills

Effective time management skills and organizational skills

Must be able to multi task

General understanding of lottery transactions and how the lottery operates
