SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for the overall management of the voice telecommunications systems at all Pinnacle Foods locations. Ensures optimum performance and stability of telecommunications systems through the support and management of VoIP services, PBXs, voicemail and telecom carriers. This environment includes a distributed telecommunications environment with multiple integrated hardware platforms and services provided by multiple vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional Duties May Be Assigned):
Day to day support of Cisco’s Unified Communications environment (CUCM(Call manager), Unity connect. UCCX and Presence
Assist IT management in establishing the strategic direction of Information Technology for telecommunications systems and networks. Research, recommend and implement technologies and methodologies to support business trends as they pertain to the strategic direction of the company. Interface with other areas of IT, senior management and business units to define cost effective solutions that meet their needs and expectations. Monitor voice telecommunications systems and network performance and make adjustments as necessary. Coordinate the timely and accurate installation of services at new facilities. Ensure services and invoicing for all Pinnacle locations are accurate and approve for payment. Provide connectivity support and vendor management for the following services: Local Exchange Carriers (LEC), inter-exchange long distance carrier point of presence (POP), SIP and toll free. Provide and manage audio and web conferencing access throughout the organization Provide end user training on telecom systems. Respond to job assignments such as work orders, engineering changes and trouble tickets as required. Provide Network Manager with monthly reports detailing monthly telephone expenses, voicemail disk space availability and any other additional reports as requested. Perform Mac’s (moves, adds, changes) as required. Budget planning for telecom Operating expense and capital equipment. Establish and insure that adequate telecommunication standards and security measures are followed. Conduct periodic audits for service records, usage, security, etc. Helps define, design and implement a business recovery plan that will allow Pinnacle foods to re-establish telecommunication business activities in the event of a disaster. Work with and oversee vendors to obtain quotes and provide infrastructure changes to telecommunications systems including data, wireless and voice applications.

Knowledge of voice communications including programming tariffs, monitoring and forecasting techniques Cisco Call Manager, Unity and Jabber. CCNA voice preferred Avaya experience a plus ATT MPLS networks and Verizon Business service telecommunication services
Five to seven years’ experience with voice equipment, preferable in a Cisco Call Manager and Avaya PBX environment
BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science. A total of five years’ experience in telecommunications can be substituted in-lieu-of a degree
