Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a highly-motivated and experienced Telecommunications Coordinator to join the Networks team. The Telecommunications Coordinator will work closely with Tower’s project management and administrative staff to manage telecommunications services for approximately 100 circuits, 150 interconnects, and 50 Internet services with 40 sites globally.

  • Act as a contact for all telecommunications requirements
  • Coordinate the provisioning of data services globally
  • Work with internal groups to coordinate delivery of projects related to telecommunications circuits and facilities
  • Assist internal business units by providing quotes for new services
  • Take a lead role in researching, recommending, and pricing new vendors that might provide Tower with lower-latency and/or higher-capacity services
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Manage contracts with external service providers to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and timely delivery of procured services
  • Manage capacity and latency of new and existing services
Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the telecommunications industry along with:
  • Prior experience with a large or global telecommunications or colocation vendor
  • Excellent project- and time-management skills, including exceptional attention to detail and expert organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with telecommunications services and acronyms
  • Exposure to network administration and/or Cisco equipment (a plus)
  • Experience establishing contacts and relationships within the telecommunications industry an advantage

  • Dedicated, self-starting, and motivated
