We are looking for someone to provide senior level network services, including, network design, project management, and diagnosing and resolving network hardware and / or software issues elevated from the Availability Management team and other Technical Services groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently delivers on all assignments within expected timeframes, with zero defects. Develops, leads and implements solutions that address all functional and non-functional requirements.
Identifies opportunities and leads implementation improvements to infrastructure performance, improves team processes and automates manual tasks.
Demonstrates awareness of business drivers & their use of departmental technical services. Understands the business impact of change
Able to deal with the most challenging, complex and critical assignments with minimal oversight.
Develops and leads the implementations that consider tactical and strategic implications
Exercises good judgment on when to engage other teams in solving problems.
Demonstrates an expert level of technical proficiency in operational technologies. (i.e. core technologies & other key platform technologies).
Provides the direction and leadership to troubleshoot the most critical issues to determine root cause and implement appropriate corrective action.
Recommends and/or implements the appropriate solutions within and across divisions with minimal oversight.
Fully understands, supports and aligns to the platform/operations 3-year strategic plan.
Able to assess system risks and issues that may impact overall system delivery.
Provides technical consultation to IT groups across the organization
Demonstrates accountability for all tasks and responsibilities.
Actively participates in team, cross divisional and established technical forums.
Demonstrates ownership of both the teams processes and divisional process and leads the effort to make them better. (i.e. MIM, dashboards and VUE)
