Telecommunications Installer, Level III
The Telecommunications Installer is responsible for the installation, integration, troubleshooting and maintenance of microwave radio systems in a “carrier-grade” environment. This may also include broadcast transmission systems, networking equipment, power system and other related auxiliary equipment. As a Level 3 technician, the Telecommunications Installer must be able to work independently or with a team to complete projects in a timely manner and per defined scope. The Telecommunications Installer is responsible for completing required closeout, install or turn-up documents per client requirements.

Essential Functions:
-Experience with Telcordia Installation Standards
-Ability to prepare detailed scopes of work, MOP’s, bill of materials, etc. based on site walks
-Provide daily updates, “red” line drawings, and close-out packages
-Ability or willingness to learn commissioning of PDU’s, Microwaves, fiber muxers, etc.
-Communicate directly with the customers/cell site technicians and managers to ensure successful project implementations
-Perform fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide and coaxial cable installation and testing
-Communicate directly with the customers/cell site technicians and managers to ensure successful project implementations

-Exceptional problem-solving skills
-Ability to prioritize and align activities and resources with frequent changes in schedule or demand
-Ability to successfully lead projects from site walk to completion
-Interface professionally with customers for site-walks
-Ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instruction
-Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
-Communicate expectations and directions very clearly
-Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and various other computer software products
-Attention to detail, problem solving, time management and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required
-Ability to work and flourish in a fast-paced constantly changing high-tech environment
-Valid Driver’s License, with clear driving record
-Demonstrable history of no felonies or misdemeanors, as this is a mandatory requirement for some of WirelessWerks’ clients
-Lead others to ensure the quality and timely completion per SOW (Scope of Work)

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
-Position requires dexterity, good vision, and involves demanding physical activity and exertion for carrying tools, equipment and materials up to 75 pounds. Must be able to perform other physical activities associated with installation of equipment, like climb a 10’ ladder.
-Installers may work irregular hours and regularly work under adverse conditions (e.g. working heights of 200 ft. plus, inclement weather, remote sites) in the performance of the job. Installers will be required to travel to multiple states in the Southwest region, up to 50-75%, and must be willing to travel overnight or longer if needed.
