This position is located in the Network Plans and Policy (CP) Division, Command Control Communications and Computers (C4) Department, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
You must be a US Citizen.

Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.
You must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Position may require occasional travel (10%).

- Formulate, staff, promulgate Marine Corps policy on the planning, programming, acquisition and use of Marine Corps telecommunications services and resources.
- Develop telecommunications plans and policy to support the evolutionary development of the Marine Corps telecommunications infrastructure and ensure transport capacity for Marine Corps information technology (IT) programs.
- Represent the department in collaboration with Department of Defense agencies to advocate for Marine Corps telecommunication requirements and interests.
- Facilitate the acquisition, installation, operation, security, and life cycle management of Marine Corps base telecommunications infrastructure.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying IT acquisition and communication plans in line with government policy.
Experience analyzing technical information as it relates to telecommunication operations.
Experience using necessary IT systems such as Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Joint Communications Simulation System (JCSS), Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP), and Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution (PPBE) processes.
Experience applying telecommunications systems planning, program administration, requirements analysis, systems analysis, circuit and systems design, and systems acquisition.
