The Telephony Specialist is responsible for supporting and configuring the company’s IP Telephony systems to meet business requirements. Works in an ancillary capacity on projects to discern their needs and assist in implementing solutions using various productivity applications but specializing in the company’s Telephony system.
  • Support, troubleshoot, configure, and administrate the company’s IP Telephony systems to meet business requirements
  • Install, register, configure, and program supporting applications
  • Develop and maintain a separate testing environment for system including providing technical leadership and conduct regular performance and system testing
  • Install and support new client and server software infrastructure
  • Provide technical support to users with very different levels of IT knowledge and competence
  • Remains available during regular hours of operation for response to system issues/failures
  • Remains available during non-business hours of operation for system issues/failures
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
  • 2+ years of applicable experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft client and server operating systems.
  • Experience with applications running Windows Server, SQL and all windows operating systems
