ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Expand customer base through in-depth knowledge of retail services, products and selling techniques.
Recognizes selling opportunities and effectively cross-sells bank products and services.
Follows up on sales opportunities/prospects/refers prospect to appropriate department, such as Trust.
Acknowledges customer complaints and follows up on complaints and ensures customer satisfaction.
Process all financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner, accepts deposits and loan payments.
Redeems/settles all savings bonds.
Redeems/settles/issues cashier checks, money orders and gift/travel cards.
Handles balance inquiries and resolves problems.
Process Branch Capture, Credit Card and Mortgage Payments.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or equivalent job experience. Must have a minimum of six months cash handling experience as a teller or as a cashier in a retail store.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to set priorities. Must enjoy working with the public on a daily basis. Good sales ability is required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
