Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative support to the Technical Operations - Safety, Environmental & Quality Assurance Department.
Responsibilities: Process all the related environmental invoices, including printing waste receipts, send originals to accounts payable and file accordingly Provide administrative support to the environmental group with assigned projects Keep track of exams that Refrigeration Officers require to have by procedure Prepare exemption forms to be sent to the vessels Stamp waste manifests when received Set up all vendors for the department Maintain calendar by coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and conference calls Divide and distribute mail for department, sign for all packages, pull invoices and date stamp for further processing Composes and prepares confidential correspondence and reports File and archive records Answer telephone calls and deliver or record messages Responsible for ordering office supplies Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record of successful experience in an administrative support role Proficiency in MS Office programs Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail
