Duties include creation of journal entries and completion of General Ledger Account reconciliations within the General Ledger, as well as the completion of monthly financial statement preparation and completion of audit worksheets on an as-needed basis using Microsoft Excel and other applicable software. Position will be expected to self audit completed work and complete various duties and projects as assigned to provide direct assistance to the CFO during a multiple phase project.

Responsible for the completion of General Ledger Account reconciliations

Able to proficiently create journal entries in the General Ledger

Completion of monthly financial statement preparation

Utilize Microsoft Excel program to complete reports and calculations at the request of the CFO

Completes audit worksheets on an as-needed basis

Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents/tenants in a safe, secure environment

Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by HIPAA/HITECH regulations

Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program

Completes requirements for in-service training

Completes other tasks and duties as assigned

Position requires an associate’s degree in accounting or comparable experience in lieu of a degree. Previous accounting experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
