Provide support for Oral Maxillofacial Surgery clinic.
Temporary employees are hired to provide clerical and administrative support, perform special projects/additional workloads, cover for absent employees.
Temporary employment is of limited duration, and under the terms of NSU's benefits plan and policies, not eligible for company benefits.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Answer telephone for clinics.
2. Schedule patient appointments for students, residents, and faculty.
3. Insurance verification.
4. Provide clerical assistance.
Marginal Job Functions:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Major (if required):
Minimum of one year experience working as front or back end administrative support in a multi-provider healthcare office or or experience in customer service preferably in a call center environment.
Dental and/or medical front desk experience.
Insurance verification experience.
