National Grid is seeking Temporary Field Helpers in Albany, Troy and Schenctady.
We are a major electricity and gas delivery company with one of the largest electricity transmission and distribution systems in the Northeast.
Temporary Field Helpers will be expected to assist various crew operations in the field. Routine duties would include flagging at construction sites.
In order to proceed in the process, you must be able to pass pre-employment assessments, including a demonstration of job skills, background check and drug/alcohol and physical screening.
R esponsibilities will be:
Perform assorted manual labor tasks associated with the construction sites and other similar activities. Ability to use hand tools.
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Should have aptitude for mechanical work. Must be able to work in the outdoors and in inclement weather. Must be able to walk over uneven terrain. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to work in Albany, Troy and Schenectady Line school certificate is preferred
