The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. We are currently seeking a Temporary Senior HR Recruiter for the Human Resources department in our Chicago office. This temporary position is anticipated to last 6 months.
The Temporary Senior HR Recruiter will be responsible for identifying top candidates to fill approved vacancies for the American Hospital Association, including its subsidiaries. The incumbent will be actively involved in posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and documenting applicants who fit our culture and qualifications in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Conducts hiring manager interviews to create individual recruitment plan and schedule.
Implements recruitment plan in accordance with AHA recruiting process.
Provides regular communication to the hiring manager regarding recruitment status until new hire onboard.
Utilizes resources available to identify and source candidates.
Communicates with candidates and documents recruiter actions in the applicant tracking system, UltiPro.
Creates and utilizes behavioral and performance interview processes to differentiate candidates.
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in human resources, psychology or business administration with HR emphasis.
At least 7 years HR professional experience in recruitment of professionals, managers, and directors.
Association experience a plus.
Excellent knowledge and experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), applicants tracking systems (UltiPro preferred), and social media.
Knowledge of HR, recruitment processes (including behavioral and performance based interviewing), and federal, state and local employment related laws and regulations.
