Prepare U-drive vehicles for issue (sedans, minivan, 15 passengers vans and buses and box trucks) by:
Cleaning interior (including under seats, dash board and windows);
Cleaning exterior (including windows and vehicle body and wheels with soap and brush if needed), and check fluids and check and fill tires to proper pressure).
Safely perform snow and ice clearing at the TMP compound during snow/ice weather events to include:
Clearing main TMP entrance from Route 293 and main facility road from Building 1946 to Lot 10), Administration Building (1946) areas and parking lots, Maintenance Building (1940) parking lots and driveways, bus and tactical vehicle parking areas, POL and Car Wash:
Plowing with LMTV or HMMWV, spreading sand/salt or ice melt with LMTV spreader and portable spreader, and shoveling as needed.
Insuring that Storm Water Drains Grates are clear.
Clearing doorways and roof runoff areas of TMP Buildings with Sand/Salt or ice melt and shoveling.
Inspect and insure security of all TMP vehicles in TMP areas and remedy deficiencies (tire pressure, fluids, cleanliness, mirrors and wipers, etc.).
Safely respond to emergency requests for trips (within 30 minutes) and driver assistance.
Maintain a full drivers’ uniform on the premises while on duty.
Relieve Dispatcher for breaks and meals.
Perform as Dispatcher on days when the Dispatcher is not present within three weeks of assignment.
Safely inspect the TMP buildings, roadways and parking areas
Safely perform inspections for vehicle and lot security, non-working lighting, oil and fuel spills.
Safely perform inspection of all vehicles at turn-in:
Check for damage against DA 2408-14 card (Uncorrected Fault Record).
Verify mileage by checking vehicle odometer against log card,
Advise daily log book entries if not being made,
Inspect for fueling, and cleanliness.
Inspect car wash for proper operation.
Insure parking areas are properly utilized, to include repositioning Government vehicles.
Safely perform as directed duties given by Management and the Dispatcher.
Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License, Class “B” or better with a “P” endorsement.
Be qualified and be able to safely operate a Motor-Coach, LMTV w/Plow and spreader, HMMWV.
Applicant must have an accident free record and clean safety record one year or the preceding 12 months.
