As bowling increases in popularity, we seek enthusiastic candidates to join our team at the national headquarters for the organized sport of bowling.We are currently looking for a qualified Store Manager to work in our USBC Women’s and or Open Championships in Reno Nevada!!!
As the Store Manager of a fast paced and fun environment, you will be managing and overseeing a team of hourly associates. You’ll be responsible for setting a clear vision for your team, providing leadership that will drive sales, ensuring excellent customer service and developing high morale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Train, develop and retain high quality associates Provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering a positive customer experience Plan and prepare associate work schedules and assign employees to specific duties Review and adjust associate schedule to ensure maximum sales floor coverage during key business times
Ensure an excellent level of customer service is a priority at all times through regular assessment, coaching and follow-up with team Maintain visibility and lead by example on the selling floor to answer customer questions and support all selling and customer service functions
Drive Sales + Profitability
Implement all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses Demonstrate expertise in selling and visual merchandising skills
Perform all opening and closing functions of the store Supervise store security and safety Ensure accurate receiving and transfers of merchandise Perform physical inventories of the store Complete daily cash deposits Research any discrepancies in merchandise or cash Ability to prepare merchandise for floor-readiness Execute and insure employee compliance with established security, sales and record keeping procedures and practices
Perform retail sales person’s duties when necessary Adapt to changes required by the business Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Assumes and completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum two years retail store manager experience with a proven track record for driving sales and training and developing a team of individuals Excellent POS and analytical skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred Excellent communication skills and proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization Maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room and office Ability to move heavy objects Must pass USBC’s Registered Volunteer Program background screen as a condition of employment to ensure appropriate protection is given to youth involved in our programs required.
