ALSTOM Grid – the leader in providing software and services to the Electric Utility Industry has an opening for a Tendering Administrator in it's Charleroi, PA location.
As a Tendering Administrator you would be responsible for fulfilling the tendering activity for the newly created disconnect switch CHD unit.
This position is responsible for:
Translating customer needs to build and defend attractive offers in compliance with Alstom rules and processes and in conjunction with field, unit and central team to achieve unit's budget objectives.
Background in electricity
Good commercial/sales background
Financial background/knowledge
Negotiation skills
Management skills
Qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this
opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
General Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Management or equivalent
5-10 years related experience in tendering and contract administration for a business that sells products to the utility companies, municipalities or governments
