Position Summary

This position is a Part Time Year Round position with our Tennis Department. Basic knowledge of tennis and excellent customer service experience is preferred.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

1. Answers phone for Tennis Shop
2. Assist with all areas of Tennis operations
3. Sell current packages and services
4. Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise
5. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales
6. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise
7. Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer
8. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise
9. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill
10. Accepts payment and makes change
11. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers
12. Cleans shelves, counters, or tables
13. Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift
14. Calculates sales discount to determine price
15. Other Duties as assigned

SCOPE OF BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Budget responsibility is not in scope for this position.
SERVICE FUNDAMENTALS:
It is essential that the employee support and integrate the Service Fundamentals of Sandestin Investments, LLC and interact effectively with guests and staff. The employee is expected to demonstrate a commitment to Sandestin Investments, LLC Service Fundamentals and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the game of tennis is preferred but not required.
Seeking someone who has played Tennis or can discuss Tennis programs with potential clients.
