Camp Seneca Lake:|
Camp Seneca Lake, a Jewish overnight summer camp, is seeking creative, energetic, down to earth staff with a passion for the outdoors to help further our adventure course program. Our 200 beautiful wooded acres in the Finger Lakes region of New York State provide the ideal backdrop for camp. Campers participate in a variety of exciting areas, including waterfront (skiing, sailing, wakeboarding and more!), high and low ropes courses, most land sports, overnight hiking, nature, drama, and arts and crafts. CSL offers these activities in a wholesome Jewish camp community full of ruach to promote the physical, social, and emotional development of each of our campers. CSL is the home away from home each summer for nearly 500 children (ages 7-16) and over 100 staff.
Every camper will have the opportunity to enjoy our two full sized tennis courts. Between lessons, free play, and a progressive Tennis hobby, there is no shortage of opportunities for our campers. It will be the role of the Tennis Specialist to work, together with the Athletics Director, to building a nurturing, supportive environment for the campers to learn in.
Purpose of the Tennis Program:
To enrich the character and leadership development of our campers by providing a wholesome environment that allows them to be their goofy selves, grow personally, learn about the importance of selflessness and teamwork, while challenging them on a individual level. We hope to make their time at Tennis not simply a summer experience, but a life experience with value and resonance that extends far beyond the boundaries of a single summer.
We are looking for one Tennis specialists. Specialists will lead lessons and safely run camp hobbies. Benefits include a competitive salary, paid training for low and high element, with room and board while training and working. Staff will be provided with extensive leadership training in the field as well as an in-camp orientation.

Applicants must have competed at least one years of college and have at least one season of experience working in a leadership role with in a tennis setting. You must be a team player, love working with children, maintain excellent communication skills, and have a positive attitude. Applicants must be willing to commit from June 17 to August 22. While we are a Jewish summer camp, you need not be Jewish to apply.
