Job Description:
Represent Dexcom, Inc. products to health care
professionals and people with diabetes in assigned sales
territories; close sales leads and process orders to
achieve monthly sales plan. May be required to train
patients on the use of Dexcom Technology. May also be
responsible for providing day to day direction of
Territory Sales Specialist within respective territory.
The qualified candidate must reside in the NorthEast
following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Convert physicians, diabetes education nurses and
other health care professionals to prescribe Dexcom
products to their patients.
  • Train health care professionals in how to use
Dexcom, Inc. products and integrate them into their
diabetes practice.
  • Represent Dexcom at local, regional and national
trade shows and diabetes exhibits to promote Dexcom
products to the diabetes community.
  • May be responsible for providing direction to
Territory Sales Specialist within Territory
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records to
measure the progress in converting target health
care professionals to active promoters and
prescribers of Dexcom, inc. products.
  • Complete all administrative requirements in a timely
fashion as directed by management.
  • Extensive local travel and up to 40% overnight

Specialists within individual Territory.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or
university required; 3 – 5 years medical sales
experience with a track record of high sales success
required. Previous sales management experience
In-depth understanding and application of the selling
process, diabetes disease management practices,
understanding of the healthcare delivery and
reimbursement market in the U.S., and basic business

and persuasive. Communication: Ability to listen and
respond appropriately, ask questions, presents in clear

and concise manner. Time Management /Organization:
Plans, organizes and prioritizes appropriately.

customers, and the general public.
Ability to perform college level math skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.
