Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: $35K Plus 10% Bonus
Travel: 5% Nationally, 15% Locally

Our client, an innovative firm which specializing in manufacturing Online Leak Sealing Sealants, Injection tools and equipment, customized and stock clamps as well as developing the technique of online leak sealing for valves, pumps and pipeline connectors, has contracted The River Group, Inc. to assist them in their search for a Sales Representative to service current clients’ needs and open new relationships, locally and nationally.
Conduct market research and surveys; Develop and maintain a customer database; Source and develop client referrals; Develop sales proposals; Prepare sales action plans and schedules; Plan and conduct direct marketing activities; Make outreaching calls to new and existing clients; Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients; Present sales contracts; Maintain sales activity records and reports; Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person; Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships; Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management; Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development.
Work experience in the petroleum or chemical industries 3 years+; Able to work with team players, juggle multiple priorities and handle quickly-emerging tasks; Sales experience highly preferred; Excellent interpersonal skills; Creativity and self-motivation favorable; Knowledge of customer service principles; Experience in making presentations; Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
