The Territory Sales Manager, Natural is responsible for managing an account base of retail health and natural product stores throughout a specified geographic area.
This position is based in Central Illinois and covers primarily Springfield, Champaign-Urbana, Peoria
Develop and manage business relationships with assigned accounts and provide accounts with information about sales and profitability opportunities.
Increase placement of products purchased from Tree of Life.
Increase promotional activity, sales volume and profitability of assigned accounts.
Improve each retailer’s category assortment with new/appropriate items.
Recommend improved merchandising, promotional and marketing initiatives to assigned accounts.
Attendance at regional and national trade shows identified by management.
Other duties and special projects as requested.
Must maintain good attendance.
Must maintain safe work practices.
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Bachelors Degree preferred.
A minimum of four (4) years of field sales management and/or retail natural food store experience required.
Experience in the independent natural foods marketplace and/or knowledge of natural foods strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Proficiency with MS Office required; including Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
