About the Position:
As a Test Administrator, you will administer tests to high school students and individuals wishing to enter the military.
This position will cover Madison, Wisconsin.
This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis".
This position will NOT lead to a full-time position.
Intermittent employees are not eligible for benefits.
Relocation expenses will not be paid.
Travel is required to various testing sites.
Personally owned vehicles are required to be used.
Travel reimbursement is authorized.

The duties of this position include:
- Administer written and computerized tests in the local commuting area (up to a 100 miles radius when necessary)
- Use personal vehicle to transport test materials
- Maintain security and inventory of test materials
- Review applicant test admission forms
General experience: To qualify at the GS-04 grade level, applicants must possess one year of g eneral experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a Test Administrator. Examples of qualifying general experience include reading instructions, greeting visitors and filing.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, and abilities) in the following areas:
- Knowledge of Test Administration
- Knowledge of Security Guidelines
- Ability to Communicate Orally
Education: To qualify at the GS-04 using education, you must have completed two (2) full academic years of undergraduate level education beyond high school which equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position. Security Information. Because the positions are subject to working with minors, it is a Public Trust position, requiring Criminal History Repository checks for each state where the selectees have resided for the past five years prior to appointment to the Testing Administrator position.
One year probationary period may be required.

Some work may be performed from your residence prior to arriving at the test site.
Must be able to carry 1 to 5 cases of test materials each weighing an average of 10 to 35 pounds to and from examination locations.
HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:

Basis for Rating : Qualified candidates will be assigned to one of three quality categories: Best Qualified, Highly Qualified and Qualified. Veteran preference eligibles are listed ahead of non-preference eligibles within each quality category.
