As part of the test development team, operate under direction and supervision of Test Development Engineering Manager.

Work with product development teams to define test requirements for breakthrough and derivative power management product.

In-depth understanding of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware & software.

Develop hardware and software solutions for characterizing new silicon.

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective solutions for production test.

In-depth understanding of production release processes and how products are designed for manufacturability.

Provide technical support for product release to offshore production facilities.

Coordinate with offshore Test Engineers to release new test capabilities to production.

Develop project schedules and participate in PSD process

Responsible for product yield

Investigate and develop new test methods to improve test accuracy and to reduce test time and cost.

Convert existing test methods from current test platform to new test platform.


Bachelor's degree

or foreign education equivalent in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering.

3 to 5 years of experience, gained at anytime, which must have involved:

Performing circuit evaluation and characterization using ATE and bench equipment test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital multimeters.

Using schematic and layout tools such as PCAD, Cadence ALLEGRO, OrCAD

Working with analog and mixed signal ATE systems.

Experience using Teradyne FLEX, MicroFLEX, UltraFLEX, and/or J750 ATE platforms is preferred.

Develop test software using Visual Basic or C/C++ programming languages.

Developing test capabilities for testing analog and digital devices

Designing test circuitry and test hardware

New product development and releasing new products to manufacturing.

Using STDF tools such as SEDana

Apply statistical analysis techniques to calculate test and datasheet limits, determine DUT performance, and prove manufacturability.
