Contract
Participate and/or lead in technical design reviews, authoring of design validation plans, plan including coordination of test activities and the development of test tooling and benches. Performing regular reviews with supplier on their quality control check points and ongoing problem resolution for issues identified in the field for the full set of the company's connected services including SYNC {Traffic, Directions and Information, Vehicle Health Report, 911 Assist, AppLink}, Sirius Satellite Radio, and Mobile service. Coordinate functional activities of system integration testers participating on cross-functional teams for product development efforts. Ensure that unit and integration tests developed internal to each product development group and across multiple cross-functional teams all roll-up to provide full system and interface testing coverage prior to system delivery and implementation to clients. Interface with Product Managers, Developers, Analysts. Participate in design reviews for new features, product enhancements and other new designs. Create test plans, verify and approve test procedures. Assess testing requirements and provide estimates of testing effort and resources. Analyze the impact of change on test environments, test plans and integration. Provide automated reporting of tests and test results from regular builds that allow for quantitative tracking of project quality and completeness. Management of HP Quality Center SYNC Interface with teams and external suppliers on features within - 911 Assist - Vehicle Health Report (VHR) - Traffic Directions & Information (TDI) - AppLink - Global Sync Delivery Network/ IT Ecosystem
Skills Required:
Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively liaison between the multiple cross functional managers including the individual product managers, suppliers, and the IT teams to ensure that requirements reflect the need of the business and that the design supports scalability / quality.
Experience with developing and managing all Test Assets (Test Plans, Test Cases, automated and manual Test Scripts).
Capability to provide and maintain resource schedules/planning/coordinating and reporting activities. This includes interfacing with different organizations and outside vendors on testing/resource requirements.
Versed in User Acceptance or Systems Integrated Testing Cycles.
Strong analytical and interpretative skills
Skills Preferred:
Familiarity with OBD CAN networking and vehicle electronics Telecommunications (Cellular networking)
Experience Required:
Design of Experiment DV Plans Test Cases Quality Control Plans Part Approval Process (PPAP) Problem Reporting & Resolution (PR&R)
