Develop, manage, and execute system integration and product development projects while providing hands-on technical support to Manufacturing, Applications, and Customers during early product life cycle phases.
Essential Functions
Development and execution of subsystem or full system tests for new products
Rapid and effective troubleshooting resulting in short term and long term solutions
Delivery and support of Beta products with ultimate goal to transition product ownership to Manufacturing and Applications
Planning and management of small to mid size, multi-disciplined product development projects
Manage reliability program including issue tracking, and continuous improvement program
Qualifications
Education
B.S., M.S or equivalent work experience in Electrical, or Computer/SW Engineering
Experience
5+ years experience in Semiconductor capital equipment product development
Proven track record of solving complex problems at factory and customer site through collaboration with Manufacturing, Applications, and other Engineering disciplines
Hands on experience with linear actuators, optical encoders, optical sensors, OEM pneumatic, vacuum, I/O modules, UV sources, factory automation (Brooks, Adept, Newport robots a plus)
SW script development (TCL preferred) in a Linux environment, ability to read and understand C++ source code, and experience with Octave, or other Linux-based math programs
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
Must have a proven ability to lead and manage small projects with 3-5 team members.
Must have an ability to quickly understand complex technical problems spanning multiple disciplines including electronics, mechanics, chemistry, optics, and software.
Must have a passion for problem solving, leadership, and collaboration with others while striving for perfection.
Must have an excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
Potential international travel 10% of the year (1-2 weeks/quarter)
