Job Description:
Strong working knowledge on networking device testing including Layer2 and Layer3 protocols.
Knowledge on wired and wireless networking protocols like TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, 802.11n, 802.11a/b/g.
Experienced with functional/system wide test plan development and execution.
Hands on experience with Linux systems and commands.
Good script programming skill for test automation, with script languages like Perl/Tcl/Shell.
Familiar with bug management process, black/white box testing methodologies.
Ability to effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units.
Good communication skills, good team player, quick learner, self-motivated, able to work with top-notch engineering teams.
Design, and develop test plans to test wired and wireless networking products based on requirements and featureset.
Execute the tests, file issues found and work with the development team to resolve such reported issues.
Automate the tests using scripting in Perl and/or TCL working with other team members.
