The Test Technician Specialist will provide development and test support to the manufacturing and engineering department. Incumbent will support engineering requirements on special tasks assigned to the test department, and be familiar with all types of testing and troubleshooting methods. Will meet time standards on all products currently manufactured by the company and be able to perform the administrative duties required to support the test department.
Major Job Activities:
Education and Experience:
- Read, interpret and work from schematics, drawings, written and verbal instructions and routings.
- Work closely with engineering department on new product introduction.
- Trouble-shooting failures to the component level.
- Perform timely, accurate trouble-shooting and analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing and rework cell environment.
- Work with abstract and complex circuit theory/function and communicate them with engineering team.
- Assist in evaluation of current and projected workloads, helping department to meet plans and objectives.
- Adhere and follow current company safety policies.
Competencies & Requirements:
- Associates degree from two-year college or technical school and 7 years related experience.

- Basic computer skills for enter time card, failure reports, and other job related activities.
- Knowledge and previous experience in environmental testing a plus.
- Experience with high power products a plus.
- Knowledge in Lean and 5-S helpful.
