Normally receives detailed instruction on both work and new assignments.
Works under general supervision, primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Associates Degree, Military technical training or the equivalent vocational training and 2 -4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Ability to read schematics, and use Measurement Instruments (BERT and Optical equipment preferred)
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
Capable of handling fiber
