Our HOBO® data logger and weather station products are used around the world in a broad range of monitoring applications, from verifying the performance of green buildings and renewable energy systems to agricultural and coastal research. Perform Flying Probe, and Functional tests on production boards per test procedures.
Monitor Test Program performance and perform modifications as needed through ECN’s and ECO’s.
Diagnose/troubleshoot analog and digital circuit card problems down to component level utilizing PLD’s, schematic drawings, and component data sheets.
Perform & document repairs on defective units in a single-piece flow environment.
Perform calibration and scheduled maintenance on ICT and other test systems and fixtures.
Interface with internal Production, Engineering and Quality departments.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree in electronics or technical vocational school equivalent.
Minimum five years experience with test/troubleshoot Circuit Card Assemblies.
Strong theoretical understanding of analog and digital circuit functions.
Understand schematics, BOM’s,PLD’s, and component data sheets.
Excellent communications skills at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand technical English with a high degree of proficiency.
Experience in flying probe, ICT, and functional test operation and program development.
Proficient with PC operating systems, software packages for emulators, and other test software packages.
Preferred skills and experience but not required:
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
Experience with SPEA 4040 Flying-Probe Tester or similar.
