Are you skilled at test and troubleshooting electronic equipment? Then we are looking for you! ViaSat produces innovative satellite and other wireless communication products that enable fast, secure, and efficient communications to any location. We currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced Test Technician able to perform a wide variety of tasks.
As a ViaSat Test Technician you will set up necessary test equipment and fixtures, upgrade, calibrate, test and troubleshoot electronic equipment, complete failure reports, test data sheets and provide help to other technicians.

3+ years electronic technician experience in a manufacturing or repair environment

Familiarity with test and troubleshooting methods for complex electronic equipment.

Must have strong RF, digital and analog component level troubleshooting skills and experience.

Ability to follow procedures and operate test equipment.

Must be a team player with good communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete all required paperwork.

Successful candidate has to be able to perform duties with minimum supervision.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

US government position. US citizenship required.

Up to 10% of travel.
