Excelsior College is seeking candidates for the Testing Services Associate position. The Testing Services Associate will assist with and/or coordinate detailed office functions and provide assistance for administrative and business details by performing the following duties while demonstrating the ability to perform exacting tasks within established guidelines. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answer incoming Test Administration phone calls.
Contact students via telephone regarding exam score requests, changing exam registrations, etc.
Provide daily back-up coverage to check and respond to office voicemail, email, message center work queues, and faxes.
Assist students with online registration for practice and operational exams.
Process official examinations transcripts in a timely manner.
Input orders for mailing information regarding Excelsior College ® Examinations.
Read and route incoming mail.
Prepare outgoing mail.
Protect security of exams and maintain confidentiality of stakeholders.
Process exam registrations.
Process credit card payments for exam registrations, service fees, and examination transcript requests.
Process student exam cancellations, reschedules, and refund requests.
Process student requests for eligibility window extensions for exams, switching exams, and resetting practice exams.
Input student and institutional contact information in Excelsior's Student Information System (SIS) and generate associated identification codes.
Reprint Detailed Score Reports for individual examination results.
Process extended response examination scores.
Process confidential and routine correspondence and reports.
Research archived student exams not shown in SIS via microfiche, computer printouts, and history cards.
Modify and maintain databases and administrative directories.
Generate Discoverer Reports.
Organize and maintain secure storage of confidential correspondence and records.
Locate and attach appropriate files to correspondence to be answered by Interim Director of Testing Services.
Maintain accurate, complete, and current filing systems at all times, to include information binders on forms, procedures, etc.
File requests for official examinations transcripts.
Maintain accurate, complete, and current filing systems at all times.
Collate official examinations transcript requests and registration forms and prepare for secure destruction per retention schedule.
Review Pearson VUE monthly bill in a timely manner and prepare purchase order requests for signature by appropriate parties.
Input data for Psychometric Services related to exam standard settings.
Fax letters and documents.
Enter materials requests on SIS.
Photocopy correspondence or other printed matter.
Participate in projects to assist other members of the Center for Educational Measurement and Excelsior College staff.
Order office supplies.
Utilize flexible business communication skills to provide quality staff/student service.
Carry out other tasks as directed. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate and accomplish staff results.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
High level of proficiency using PC based applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and the Internet.
Willingness to learn new software.
Type minimum of 50-55 wpm.
2-3 years general office experience required including verifiable responsibility for successfully handling inbound telephone calls in a setting which experiences variable call volumes.
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal communication in a professional manner.
Experience working in deadline-oriented job and a team environment preferred.
Experience serving as an advocate for customers or students while working within established policies and procedures is desirable.
Telephone call center experience is desirable but not required.
