Although there are countless child welfare agencies across the United States , very few organizations are able to offer the diverse array of prevention, intervention, and community-based programs and services available through OHU.
Exciting opportunity for clinicians interested in forensic work. Therapist being sought for Adult and Adolescent Offender program. Ideal candidate will have previous experience working with offender population and have hope for change and healthy futures. Candidate will function as part of a team with other clinicians as well as probation/parole officers. Program provides individual, family, and group therapy as well as assessment and treatment planning. At least three evenings a week required. Specialized training available and mentoring from a seasoned clinicians. Program receives consultation from an Evidence Based Program. Services are provided from the St. Charles office, satellite locations in Aurora, and Elgin.
Required Experience: 2 years
10% of work time is spent driving
Degree Type/Area: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field from an accredited college required; SOMB Certified Sex Offender Management Board (preferred), LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT preferred, but not required.
